Privacy
No accounts, no analytics, no ads, and files are deleted within an hour. Here is what actually happens to the data.
What reaches the server
- The map file you uploaded and the scan settings you chose.
- On build — your translations, the chosen languages and the name of the world to be.
- Ordinary HTTP request data: address, time, path and response code in the server log.
- A record of the request: time, address, browser, the file’s name, size and fingerprint, and how it ended. These records show failures and abuse; the contents of your map are not in them.
How long it lives
The uploaded file, its analysis and any built archives are deleted an hour after they were last touched.
Uploading the same file again does not start a second copy: with the same settings you get the analysis that already exists — including one produced by another visitor. That saves time, but it also means the contents of a map are no secret from anyone holding exactly the same file. Do not upload here what must not reach other hands.
Request records are kept for 90 days, and the address itself is erased after 30 — after that only its fingerprint remains. It shows that requests came from the same visitor, but the address cannot be recovered from it.
What stays in the browser
- Translation drafts, custom keys and chosen languages.
- Scan settings, so you do not set them again for the next map.
- The list layout and the color theme you chose.
- A small cookie with the chosen interface language.
- All of it goes away with the "Clear everything" button and with an ordinary clearing of site data. There are no counters, ad or tracking scripts on these pages.
Third parties
The page loads fonts from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com — while they load, Google sees your IP address and browser details. The page makes no other outside requests: analysis, building and exporting all go through this site's own server.
