How to report an infringement and what happens to uploaded files.
What happens to the files here
- The service neither stores nor distributes maps: an uploaded file is a temporary working copy that is deleted within an hour.
- There is no catalogue, no search, no public links and no shared access to anyone else's maps.
- The built world goes only to the person who uploaded the source file.
Who is responsible for what
The person who uploaded a file is responsible for its contents. By uploading a map you confirm that you have the right to process and translate it.
Bedrockus is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Rights to the game itself, its content and original texts belong to their owners; rights to the maps belong to their authors.
How to report an infringement
Write to the operator of this site and include:
- which work is affected and on what basis you represent the rights holder;
- what exactly should be removed: the job identifier, a link, a file name or the time of upload;
- how to reach you: name, e-mail address and, if needed, a phone number;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized;
- a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act;
- your signature — an electronic one is enough.
What happens next
We confirm that the letter arrived. If the working copy still exists, it is deleted immediately; more often than not the file is already gone by the retention deadline.
If access was restricted by mistake, you may send a counter-notice with the same details and your reasoning. Repeated infringement leads to access being restricted.
